"Eagles" of Eagle River

June 1 - August 28, 2010

Come find all the Eagles on display throughout    Eagle River. 

Each “Eagle” was individually commissioned by local businesses and will be displayed at different locations throughout the Eagle River area.   

Finding and viewing this city wide art gallery also gives locals and visitors the chance to win various prizes!  Each “Eagle” has a secret letter.  Each letter is a part of a phrase.  Collect all the letters and rearrange them to reveal the secret message and enter into the Grand Prize Drawing.

Then, join us for the annual Festival of Flavors on August 28th where you’ll get a chance to own one of these one-of-a-kind pieces of art.  A few of the “Eagles” will be auctioned off at the Festival of Flavors.  Also, the winner will be announced on the “Eagle” that is being raffled. 4th of July Parade and Fireworks Celebration

July 4, 2011

11am, Downtown Eagle River.  Celebrate our nations' freedom and Eagle River's hometown pride by taking in our spectacular parade.  Over 100 entrants and over 60 floats showcase the parade's annual theme.  Then, when dusk arrives on this celebratory day, come view the colorful fireworks shot high in the sky over the Hi-Pines Campground located on Hwy 45N of Eagle River.  For more information contact the Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center at 800-359-6315

 

31st Annual Guides/Kids Day

July 14, 2011

31st Annual Paul Bunyan Fest

August 17, 2011
10am - 4pm, Downtown Eagle River.  This fun filled family fun event features chain saw carving demonstrations, over 60 arts-n-crafts vendors, live musical entertainment and a Paul Bunyan Roast Cook-off by area businesses.  Come on down and enjoy a Paul Bunyan size luncheon which includes a heap'n help'n of potato salad, corn, a HUGE BEEF sandwich and a cookie.  Food is served starting at 11:00 am and until gone.  For more information contact the Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center at 800-359-6315
