The Eagle River Area is served by a
very progressive fire department that protects the
City of Eagle River and the surrounding townships
of Lincoln, Washington and Cloverland. Modern firefighting
equipment, a new fire station, and on going fire service
education for personnel are only a few of the efforts
to provide better fire protection to the area residents.
In addition to firefighting capabilities, our department
conducts a first rate fire education program for all
elementary school students, pre K-5, in the Northland
Pines School District, Local parochial schools and
day care facilities. All 30 of our firefighters participate
in this endeavor.
Fire prevention and safety inspections
in our public and commercial buildings take place
twice yearly. The city of Eagle River enjoys a Class
5 fire insurance rating, while rural areas under our
protection enjoy a Class 7. We are very proud of our
volunteer department. All of our members are dedicated
to what they do. We are most willing to assist anyone
in whatever manner possible. For futher information
feel free to contact us at 715-479-8835, and at 911
in the event of an emergency.
Respectfully,
Patrick Weber, Fire Chief
